Bevits vs Klaviyo: Which Is Better for E-commerce on WhatsApp and Email in 2026?

If you are researching marketing automation for e-commerce, Klaviyo shows up on almost every list. It is one of the most widely used email marketing platforms for online stores in the world, especially in the Shopify ecosystem, and over the last few years it has added SMS, push, reviews, AI and, more recently, WhatsApp.

Stores in Brazil and Latin America tend to ask a different question: can Klaviyo run an operation that sells through WhatsApp? In this comparison we put Bevits and Klaviyo side by side using public information as of October 2026. Yes, we are Bevits. That is exactly why we spell out where Klaviyo is better.

One thing up front: Bevits is built for Brazil and Latin America and bills in Brazilian reais. If your store sells mainly in the US, Europe or other regions, Klaviyo will probably serve you better, and we say so throughout this article.

Which is better, Bevits or Klaviyo?

  • Pick Klaviyo if email is your main channel, you sell across several countries (especially the US and Europe), you want to start for free, and you need predictive analytics, app push, reviews and hundreds of integrations.
  • Pick Bevits if you sell in Brazil or Latin America and WhatsApp is the channel that drives the most revenue: a team inbox with AI that builds the order, Coexistence, SMS that works in Brazil, native Nuvemshop and Bling integrations, unlimited contacts and pricing in reais.

In one sentence: Klaviyo is an email powerhouse that added WhatsApp. Bevits was born on WhatsApp and brought email and SMS into the same place.

What Is Klaviyo?

Klaviyo is a US marketing and data platform for consumer brands, founded in 2012 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It started as an email tool for e-commerce and grew into a suite with email, SMS, mobile push, WhatsApp, forms, reviews, a helpdesk and a data platform (KDP).

Its core strength is combining store data with email: detailed segments, behavior-triggered flows, customer lifetime value predictions and revenue reporting. In 2026 Klaviyo also launched AI agents, including Composer (which builds campaigns from a short description) and Customer Agent (automated support with human handoff). It is an excellent product and deserves its reputation.

What Is Bevits?

Bevits is a marketing and sales automation platform for e-commerce, focused on WhatsApp. It was built around the store’s orders, not the inbox. That is why it starts with the data that matters most to merchants: customers, purchases, carts and revenue.

In practice, Bevits brings together:

  • Official WhatsApp (Meta API), with campaigns, multiple numbers, Coexistence and per-customer tracked links.
  • AI-powered support that answers questions, understands voice notes, finds products from a photo, builds the order and hands off to a human when needed.
  • Revenue automations: abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, birthday and cashback (giftback).
  • CRM with RFM segments, attributes and purchase history.
  • Email and SMS in the same flows as WhatsApp, plus lead capture popups.
  • Instagram: DMs in the inbox and comment-to-DM automation.
  • Native integrations with Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce and Bling.

Bevits was built in Brazil, focuses on Brazil and Latin America, has its interface and docs in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and offers human support in Portuguese.

Bevits vs Klaviyo: Detailed Comparison

1. Email marketing: Klaviyo wins

Let’s start with the clearest point: for email, Klaviyo is ahead. It has spent more than a decade on it. It offers a mature editor, A/B testing, deliverability tooling, repeat-purchase and churn predictions and a large library of prebuilt flows. If your strategy relies on frequent newsletters and dozens of finely tuned email flows, Klaviyo is hard to beat.

Bevits has a full email editor and sends email inside the same automations as WhatsApp and SMS. For most stores that covers abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back and campaigns. But email is one of Bevits’ channels, not the center of the product.

2. WhatsApp: both use the official API, with different depth

Klaviyo has taken WhatsApp seriously. As of October 2026, its help center covers:

  • WhatsApp campaigns and transactional messages;
  • WhatsApp steps in welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment and post-purchase flows;
  • templates with dynamic content, A/B tests in flows and keywords;
  • Click-to-WhatsApp ads with a subscribe keyword;
  • multiple numbers, one per country, and buying a number directly inside Klaviyo.

In Bevits, WhatsApp is the core of the operation, not just a sending channel. On top of template campaigns and automations, you get:

  • a team inbox with automatic conversation assignment (it remembers each customer’s preferred agent) and quick replies with images and buttons;
  • AI that sells: it understands voice notes, finds products from a photo, looks up orders, quotes shipping and, on Nuvemshop, builds the cart and sends the checkout link in the chat;
  • a dedicated template to restart the conversation after the 24-hour window;
  • per-customer tracked short links, with clicks and performance per button.

Bevits supports WhatsApp Coexistence, which lets you use the same number in the phone app and the API at the same time. In the Klaviyo documentation we reviewed, we did not find Coexistence: the described path is to migrate the number from the WhatsApp Business app to the API, which removes app access on that number. Want to understand the difference? Read our WhatsApp Coexistence guide.

3. SMS: Klaviyo does not send in Brazil

This matters a lot for Brazilian stores. According to Klaviyo’s help center, SMS is available in the US, Canada, Mexico (at international rates), 18 European countries, Australia and New Zealand. Brazil is not on the list, and neither are Argentina, Colombia or Chile. In those countries Klaviyo does not send SMS or collect SMS consent.

If you sell in the US, Europe or Australia, though, Klaviyo’s SMS is mature and well integrated with email, and that is a real advantage.

At Bevits, SMS is part of every plan (300 on Pro and 500 on Ultra) and runs in the same automations as WhatsApp and email.

4. Data, segmentation and RFM

Klaviyo is very strong on data. It offers detailed segmentation, customer value predictions and a data platform (KDP) for larger companies, priced separately according to public sources, with analysis such as RFM, cohorts and data warehouse sync.

Bevits is simpler and more direct. The Pro plan already includes a CRM with RFM segments (recency, frequency and monetary value), custom segments, attributes and purchase history, so you can reach champions, at-risk customers and lapsed buyers without building anything from scratch. Learn more in our RFM matrix guide.

5. Artificial intelligence

Klaviyo invested heavily in AI in 2026:

  • Composer builds campaigns and flows from a description, using your account data.
  • Customer Agent answers customers in more than 100 languages, recommends products and escalates to the helpdesk with context. According to Klaviyo’s Q2 2026 announcement, it includes 50 free conversations and then costs $0.70 per conversation.

Bevits’ AI is built to sell and support customers on a store’s WhatsApp: it understands voice notes, finds products from a photo, looks up orders, quotes shipping, builds the order and sends the checkout link (Nuvemshop), runs pre-service with interactive options and hands off to a human with the conversation context. You can review and edit what it has learned and turn it on or off per WhatsApp number. AI usage is part of the plan.

6. Pricing: US dollars per profile vs reais with unlimited contacts

Klaviyo Free per the official pricing page. Klaviyo paid plans per public sources from June 2026, since the official page only shows them in a calculator. Klaviyo bills in US dollars; Bevits bills in Brazilian reais.
Plan Monthly price What's included
Klaviyo Free $0 250 profiles, 500 emails
Klaviyo Email, 500 profiles ~$20 Email only
Klaviyo Email, 10k profiles ~$150 Email only
Klaviyo Email, 25k profiles ~$400 Email only
Klaviyo WhatsApp and SMS Per message Prepaid balance, priced by country
Bevits Pro R$249 Unlimited contacts, 500 WhatsApp, 300 SMS, 5,000 emails
Bevits Ultra R$499 10,000 WhatsApp, 500 SMS, 20,000 emails

How Klaviyo charges: the free plan covers up to 250 active profiles and 500 email sends a month, with $5 of mobile messages. Paid plans scale with the number of active profiles (contacts who can receive marketing). To send WhatsApp you need a Mobile Messaging plan: WhatsApp draws from the same balance as SMS, priced per message by the recipient’s country. Add-ons such as the data platform and Customer Agent are billed separately.

How Bevits charges: a flat plan in Brazilian reais with unlimited contacts and bundled WhatsApp, SMS and email volumes. Beyond what’s included, you use credits. There is a 7-day free trial and no permanent free plan.

Which one is cheaper? For a small store that relies mostly on email, Klaviyo is usually cheaper, and the free plan makes testing easy. Once a Latin American store passes a few thousand customers and WhatsApp becomes the main channel, Klaviyo’s cost adds up: per-profile pricing, WhatsApp messages and exchange-rate swings. In that scenario, a flat plan in reais with unlimited contacts tends to be more predictable. Run the numbers for your own store.

7. Integrations and e-commerce

Klaviyo has hundreds of integrations and one of the best Shopify connections on the market, plus WooCommerce, Magento and other platforms. For Nuvemshop there is an app on Klaviyo’s marketplace and another built by a partner. We did not find a native Bling integration.

Bevits natively connects Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce and Bling and uses that data everywhere: store-event automations (order paid, abandoned cart, customer created), coupons, cashback and attributed revenue at each step, with sends, deliveries, clicks and conversions. It also offers a read-only public API and an MCP server so AI agents such as Claude and ChatGPT can look up customers, purchases and campaigns. On the other hand, Bevits does not yet offer Zapier, Make or outbound webhooks, and it does not integrate with VTEX, Magento or Tray.

8. Language, support and market

Klaviyo is global, with its interface in several languages, and it serves brands in the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific very well. Bevits was built in Brazil: pricing in reais, native Nuvemshop and Bling, SMS to Brazilian numbers and human support in Portuguese. If you operate outside Latin America, Klaviyo is very likely the better choice today.

When to Choose Klaviyo

  • Email is your main channel and you want the most complete editor and flows on the market.
  • You sell in the US, Europe or many countries.
  • You want to start for free with a small list.
  • You need predictive analytics, a data platform, app push or reviews.
  • Your store runs on Shopify and depends on many third-party integrations.

When to Choose Bevits

  • You sell in Brazil or Latin America and WhatsApp drives the most revenue.
  • You want an inbox and AI that sells on WhatsApp, not just broadcasts.
  • You want to keep your number on your phone with Coexistence.
  • You need SMS to Brazilian numbers.
  • Your store uses Nuvemshop or Bling.
  • Your list is large and you want predictable pricing in reais, without paying per contact.

Can You Use Both?

Yes. A common setup is Klaviyo for email and Bevits for WhatsApp, SMS, AI support and repeat purchases. To make it work, decide which tool owns each automation, so customers don’t get the same cart reminder twice, and don’t connect the same WhatsApp number to both platforms.

How to Migrate from Klaviyo to Bevits

  1. Connect your store (Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce or Bling) to sync customers and orders.
  2. Connect official WhatsApp. With Coexistence, you can keep the number you already use in WhatsApp Business.
  3. Export from Klaviyo the contacts that are not in your store and import them via spreadsheet (CSV).
  4. Rebuild your key flows: abandoned cart, post-purchase and win-back, with WhatsApp, email and SMS.
  5. Set up the AI with your store’s tone of voice, policies and FAQs.
  6. Turn off in Klaviyo the flows you rebuilt, so messages are not duplicated.

If your WhatsApp number is connected to Klaviyo, disconnect it first before connecting it to Bevits. A number can only be linked to one API platform at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bevits a Klaviyo alternative?

Yes, mainly for stores in Brazil and Latin America that sell on WhatsApp. Klaviyo is stronger at email, data and global reach; Bevits is stronger at WhatsApp, with an inbox, AI that builds the order, Coexistence, SMS in Brazil and native Nuvemshop and Bling, billed in reais with unlimited contacts. Outside Latin America, Klaviyo will usually fit better.

Does Klaviyo support WhatsApp?

Yes, through Meta’s official API, with campaigns, templates, transactional messages and steps in flows. You need a Mobile Messaging plan, and each message is priced by the recipient’s country. Meta does not currently allow WhatsApp marketing messages to US numbers.

Does Klaviyo SMS work in Brazil?

No. Klaviyo’s help center lists SMS in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and Brazil is not on the list. Bevits includes SMS to Brazilian numbers on every plan.

Which is cheaper, Bevits or Klaviyo?

To get started, Klaviyo, with a free plan for 250 profiles and email plans from around $20 according to public sources. Because it charges per profile and bills WhatsApp and SMS separately, the cost grows with your list. Bevits starts at R$249 with unlimited contacts and bundled messages, and is usually more predictable for large Latin American stores that sell on WhatsApp.

Can I keep my WhatsApp Business number with Bevits?

Yes. Bevits supports Coexistence: you connect the number you already use, keep replying from your phone and conversations show up in the inbox. In the Klaviyo docs we reviewed, the described path is migrating the number to the API, which ends app access.

Can I use Bevits and Klaviyo together?

Yes. Keep Klaviyo for email and use Bevits for WhatsApp, SMS, AI and repeat purchases. Just don’t run the same automation in both tools or connect the same WhatsApp number to both.

Conclusion

Klaviyo is one of the best email and data platforms for e-commerce in the world. If email drives your store or you sell outside Latin America, it will serve you very well.

If your store sells in Brazil or Latin America and WhatsApp is where customers buy, Bevits was built for exactly that: AI that closes orders, Coexistence, SMS that reaches Brazilian phones, automations that show in reais how much they earned, and a flat price with no per-contact billing.
