Bevits vs WATI: Which One Should You Use to Sell on WhatsApp in 2026?

WATI is one of the most widely used WhatsApp Business API platforms in the world. It says it serves more than 16,000 businesses in over 190 countries. If you have searched for “WhatsApp API for business”, you have almost certainly come across it.

In this comparison we put Bevits and WATI side by side using public information as of October 2026. We are Bevits, so we made a point of being clear about where WATI comes out ahead.

One thing up front: Bevits is built for Brazil and Latin America and bills in Brazilian reais. WATI is a global product. If you run a business outside Latin America, WATI will likely serve you better, and this article will show you why.

Which is better, Bevits or WATI?

  • Pick WATI if you need a WhatsApp support hub for a large team, with assignment rules, a mobile app, Messenger and website chat, lots of integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zapier) and tracked Click-to-WhatsApp ads. It is also the better choice if you operate outside Latin America.
  • Pick Bevits if you run an online store in Brazil or Latin America and want WhatsApp to sell: AI that builds the order and quotes shipping, abandoned cart recovery, post-purchase flows, repeat sales, RFM segments and revenue attributed to each automation, with email and SMS in the same place and unlimited contacts.

In one sentence: WATI organizes your WhatsApp support. Bevits turns WhatsApp into a sales channel for your store.

What Is WATI?

WATI is a support and marketing platform built on the official WhatsApp Business API. It started as a shared team inbox and grew to include bulk campaigns, no-code chatbots, Click-to-WhatsApp ads and AI agents.

Today WATI covers WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and website chat, plus WhatsApp voice calls. Its AI agent, Astra, runs conversations on its own and hands off to a human with the full history. There are iOS and Android apps, more than 100 integrations and an MCP connection for Claude and ChatGPT. Help content is available in several languages, including Portuguese and Spanish.

It is a mature, global and well-rounded tool for any team that needs to run WhatsApp for support or sales.

What Is Bevits?

Bevits is a marketing and sales automation platform for e-commerce, focused on WhatsApp. It was born from the store order, not from the inbox, so it starts with the data that matters most to merchants: customers, purchases, carts and revenue.

Bevits was built in Brazil for stores in Brazil and Latin America. The interface and docs are available in English, Portuguese and Spanish, human support is in Portuguese, and plans are billed in reais.

In practice, Bevits brings together:

  • Official WhatsApp (Meta API), with campaigns, multiple numbers, Coexistence and per-customer tracked links.
  • AI-powered support that replies, understands voice notes, finds products from a photo, builds the order and hands off to a human when needed.
  • Revenue automations: abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, birthdays and cashback (giftback).
  • A CRM with RFM segments, attributes and purchase history.
  • Email and SMS in the same flows as WhatsApp, plus lead capture popups.
  • Instagram: DMs in the inbox and comment-to-DM automation.
  • Native integrations with Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce and Bling.

Bevits vs WATI: Detailed Comparison

1. Official WhatsApp and the inbox

Both use the official WhatsApp API, so your number is not at risk of being banned for using an unauthorized connection.

  • On WATI, the inbox is the heart of the product. Higher plans add advanced assignment rules, more seats and a mobile app. For a support team with many agents, it is very well executed.
  • On Bevits, the inbox also has teams, automatic assignment (it remembers each customer’s preferred agent), quick replies with images and buttons, image and video sending and a dedicated template to restart the conversation after the 24-hour window. What Bevits does not have yet: internal notes, CSAT surveys in the inbox and a mobile app.

Both support WhatsApp Coexistence, which lets you use the same number in the phone app and the API. WATI documents its limitations in its help center, such as broadcast lists that stop working in the app; most of them come from Meta and apply to every provider. Learn more in our WhatsApp Coexistence guide.

2. E-commerce: Bevits’ home turf

WATI integrates with Shopify (through a separately paid app of about US$5 a month, according to its pricing page) and WooCommerce. Commerce features grow with the plan, and full Shopify revenue attribution is listed on the Business plan. On the official pages we checked, we did not find native integrations with Nuvemshop or Bling, two of the most common tools for Brazilian stores.

Bevits has worked around the order from day one. Once your store is connected, it syncs products, customers and orders and uses that data everywhere:

  • Abandoned cart recovery over WhatsApp, email and SMS, with an optional coupon.
  • Post-purchase and repeat sales based on what the customer bought and when.
  • RFM segments (recency, frequency and monetary value) to talk to champions, at-risk customers and lapsed buyers. See our RFM matrix guide.
  • Cashback (giftback) and birthday flows (via Bling) to bring customers back.
  • Revenue attribution at every step of an automation, on every plan, with sends, deliveries, clicks, conversions and coupon results.

3. Artificial intelligence

WATI is investing heavily in AI. Astra is a no-code agent builder, and every plan includes AI credits. There is also a copilot for agents and, on the Business plan, unlimited agents, AI voice and external agents as an add-on. For general customer support, it is a strong offer.

Bevits’ AI is narrower and deeper: it was built to support and sell on a store’s WhatsApp.

  • it understands voice notes;
  • it finds products from a photo the customer sends;
  • it looks up orders and quotes shipping;
  • it builds the order and sends the checkout link (Nuvemshop);
  • it runs pre-service flows with messages, media and interactive options;
  • it hands off to a human with the conversation context;
  • it learns from conversations, and you can review and edit what it learned.

4. Pricing: active contacts vs unlimited contacts

WATI shows regional pricing. Because Bevits sells in Brazil, the table below uses WATI’s Brazilian prices so both products are in the same currency. If you are in another country, check WATI’s pricing page for your local rates.

Public prices as of October 2026. WATI's Brazilian prices on annual billing; Meta fees extra. Bevits bills in Brazilian reais.
Plan Monthly price What's included
WATI Growth R$299 3 seats, 500 active contacts
WATI Pro R$599 5 seats, 1,000 active contacts
WATI Business R$1,449 10 seats, 2,500 active contacts
Bevits Pro R$249 Unlimited contacts, 500 WhatsApp, 300 SMS, 5,000 emails
Bevits Ultra R$499 10,000 WhatsApp, 500 SMS, 20,000 emails

How WATI charges: each plan has a cap on monthly active contacts (MAC) and seats. In Brazil, going over costs R$100 per extra 250 active contacts (on Pro and Business). Each additional WhatsApp number is R$199 a month. Meta message fees (marketing, utility and authentication) are billed separately. Annual billing saves up to about 25% versus monthly, and there is a 7-day free trial.

How Bevits charges: a flat plan with unlimited contacts and WhatsApp, SMS and email volumes included. Beyond that, you use credits. There is also a 7-day free trial, with no permanent free plan.

Which one is cheaper? It depends on how many customers talk to you each month and how many people answer them. A store with 3,000 active customers in a month would already exceed WATI’s Business cap and pay for extra packs, on top of messages. On Bevits, your contact base is unlimited on every plan. On the other hand, if you have few contacts and a large support team, the seats included with WATI may tip the balance. Run the numbers for your own operation.

5. Channels, integrations and ecosystem

WATI wins on breadth: Messenger, website chat, WhatsApp voice calls, a mobile app and 100+ integrations, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Klaviyo, Google Ads and Zapier. It is also strong on Click-to-WhatsApp ads, tracking each conversation back to the ad that started it. Bevits does not yet offer Click-to-WhatsApp ad triggers, Zapier or outgoing webhooks.

Bevits goes deeper on the channels that sell for e-commerce in Latin America: WhatsApp, email, SMS and Instagram (comment-to-DM and DMs in the inbox), plus lead capture popups. Both connect to AI agents: WATI offers MCP, and Bevits offers a public API and an MCP server so Claude and ChatGPT can look up customers, purchases and campaigns.

6. Market, language and support

WATI is global, with regional pricing and multilingual help content. Bevits was built in Brazil: Nuvemshop and Bling integrations, pricing in reais and human support in Portuguese are part of the product, not a localization layer. If your business is in Europe, North America, the Middle East or Asia, WATI is the more natural fit.

When to Choose WATI

  • You have a large support team and need advanced assignment rules.
  • Your team needs to reply from a mobile app.
  • You use Messenger, website chat or WhatsApp calls.
  • Your stack relies on HubSpot, Salesforce or Zapier.
  • You invest heavily in Click-to-WhatsApp ads.
  • You operate outside Latin America or across many countries.

When to Choose Bevits

  • You run an online store in Brazil or Latin America (Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce) or use Bling.
  • WhatsApp is your main sales channel.
  • You want AI that sells, building the order and quoting shipping.
  • You want abandoned cart, post-purchase and repeat sales on autopilot, with email and SMS alongside.
  • You need to know how much each automation earned, on any plan.
  • Your base is large and you don’t want to pay per active contact.

Can You Use Both?

Yes, with one caveat: a WhatsApp number can only be connected to one API platform at a time. Some businesses keep WATI on a support number and use Bevits on the store’s sales number. For most online stores, though, a single tool keeps both the operation and the bill simpler.

How to Migrate from WATI to Bevits

  1. Connect your store (Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce or Bling) to sync customers and orders.
  2. Export your contacts from WATI and import the ones that are not in your store via CSV.
  3. Recreate your WhatsApp templates in Bevits and submit them for Meta approval.
  4. Disconnect the number from WATI and connect it to Bevits through Embedded Signup. With Coexistence, you keep the number in the WhatsApp Business app.
  5. Turn on automations: abandoned cart, post-purchase and win-back.
  6. Set up the AI with your store’s tone of voice, policies and FAQs.

Plan the number switch for a quiet time. While the number is connected to WATI, it cannot be connected to Bevits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Bevits a WATI alternative?

Yes, mainly for online stores that sell on WhatsApp in Brazil and Latin America. WATI is strong on team inboxes, integrations and Click-to-WhatsApp ads. Bevits focuses on e-commerce, with native store integrations, AI that builds the order and revenue per automation.

Which is cheaper, Bevits or WATI?

On WATI’s Brazilian pricing page, plans cost R$299, R$599 and R$1,449 a month on annual billing, with 500 to 2,500 active contacts and Meta fees extra. Bevits starts at R$249 with unlimited contacts and WhatsApp, SMS and email messages included. With many active customers per month, Bevits tends to be more predictable. Outside Latin America, check WATI’s local prices.

Does WATI support WhatsApp Coexistence?

Yes, syncing contacts and up to six months of chats, with limitations documented in WATI’s help center. Bevits supports Coexistence too.

Does WATI integrate with Nuvemshop?

We did not find a native Nuvemshop integration on WATI’s official pages in October 2026. It lists Shopify and WooCommerce. Bevits integrates natively with Nuvemshop, Shopify, WooCommerce and Bling.

Can I keep my number when moving from WATI to Bevits?

Yes. Disconnect the number from WATI and connect it to Bevits through Meta’s Embedded Signup. With Coexistence, you keep using the same number in the WhatsApp Business app.

Can I use Bevits and WATI together?

Yes, as long as each platform uses a different WhatsApp number.

Conclusion

WATI is a great choice for running WhatsApp support for a team, especially if you need many integrations, a mobile app or a presence in several countries.
